Why:In Response to all the recent Gun Violence in Boston.
The Mural was painted in Central Square due to the concentration
of murals in the area and high visibility of Starlight Square.
The Boston Celtics just re-Signed Marcus Smart https:// www.nba.com/news/reports-marcus-smart-celtics-reach-4-year-deal- worth-77-million.
Orange Circle (gun shots) are painted in Orange because it is the color of Gun Violence Awareness.
The Mural says “Be Smart: Reform Gun laws and Stop Gun Violence”
This Mural is part of a national tour spreading ‘Peace”, STOP GUN VIOLENCE murals throughout the USA to all 50 states by International Artist Kyle Holbrook.
Artist Kyle Holbrook has lost 45 friends to Gun Violence, all of his best friends growing up and even recently, these murals are made to be a healing place for the communities and himself.
How: The Murals are Hand painted by brush and acrylic paints in a contemporary Street Art style similar to ‘Banksy’ by International artist Kyle Holbrook.
