Mural to End Gun Violence
What: 7’ x 5’ mural in Charleston, West Virginia.
When: September 1st,11am Were: Pennsylvania Ave. S & Virginia St. W (Corner)

Why: In response to the recent shootings and gun violence.
The Artists has lost most of his friends from childhood to gun violence, forty five(45) total victims, the murals are meant to be a place of healing for himself and the families of the victims in remembrance of lost loved ones.
The Mural was painted on the large underpass poll due to all of the local artists’s murals in close proximity to provide maximum visibility to the mural and attention to the Charleston Arts Community.
‘Peace Charleston’ is part of a National Stop Gun Violence mural tour to all 50 states.
The Mural depicts a large hand making the universal symbol for ‘PEACE’ with the words “Stop Gun Violence”.
How: International artist Kyle Holbrook hand painted the mural in a contemporary street art style similar to ‘Banksy’ to insure the message is easily attained to the audience.
Who: Moving Lives of Kids (MLKmural.com) sponsored the Mural. The Mural was painted by International Artist Kyle Holbrook. Moving Lives of Kids was founded in Pittsburgh and painted murals in 40 states and 43 countries worldwide.
